CASA 2012 – Call for papers

The Institute for Media Innovation (IMI) (http://imi.ntu.edu.sg/Pages/Home.aspx),
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) (http://www.ntu.edu.sg/Pages/default.aspx),
Computer Graphics Society (CGS) (http://www.cgsociety.org/) are pleased to
announce the 25th Annual Conference on Computer Animation and Social
Agents (CASA 2012) to be held on May 9-11, 2012 at the Nanyang Executive
Centre (NEC) (http://www.ntu.edu.sg/NEC/Pages/default.aspx) on the campus
of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

CASA is the oldest international conference in computer animation and
social agents. It was founded in Geneva in 1988 under the name of Computer
Animation (CA). In the last past six years, CASA was held in Switzerland
(2006), Belgium (2007), Korea (2008), Netherlands (2009), France (2010) and
China (2011).

All accepted full papers will be published in a special issue of Computer
Animation and Virtual Worlds journal published by Wiley.

Workshops on 3D PHYSIOLOGICAL
HUMAN(http://conference.ntu.edu.sg/casa2012/Pages/Workshop.aspx),
AUTONOMOUS SOCIAL ROBOTS AND VIRTUAL HUMANS (http://conference.ntu.edu.sg/casa2012/Pages/Workshop.aspx) and
SERIOUSGAMES AND SIMULATION(http://conference.ntu.edu.sg/casa2012/Pages/Workshop.aspx)will also be held during the CASA 2012 conference. Selected papers in
workshops are scheduled as books and special issues.

CASA 2012 will provide a great opportunity to interact with leading
experts, share your own work, and educate yourself through exposure to the
research of your peers from around the world. We seek original research

Short Papers (4 pages) and Workshop Papers(15-20 pages): All short accepted papers will be selected for possible further submission to the Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds (CAVW)
Submission: March 20, 2012
Notification of acceptance: April 10, 2012
Camera ready: April 20, 2012

SUBMISSION
Paper Submission Format
All submissions should be formatted as single-spaced, double column A4
paper size, according to the following templates available for download:
LaTeX template [LaTeX template]<http://conference.ntu.edu.sg/casa2012/Documents/tmpl_pac.zip>,
or MS Word template [MS Word template]<http://conference.ntu.edu.sg/casa2012/Documents/mswrd_pac.zip>.

Full paper submissions are limited to 10 pages in length, including
references and figures. Accordingly, short paper submissions are limited to
4 pages.

For workshop paper submissions, please download the instructions and
template<http://conference.ntu.edu.sg/casa2012/Documents/Workshop_Template.zip>.
The length of the submissions is limited to 15-20 pages.

Papers should be submitted in the PDF file format through EasyChair or to
CASA2012@ntu.edu.sg. Supplementary materials (e.g., videos) should be
compressed in the ZIP file format and email to CASA2012@ntu.edu.sg with
the authors’ information and paper id.
