HCII2013: plan your participation

Don’t forget to mark in your calendar the dates of the 15th
International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction that will be
held, jointly with the affiliated Conferences at The Mirage Hotel, Las
Vegas, Nevada, USA, 21-26 July 2013


Two new affiliated conferences will take place:

– The 1st International Conference on Distributed, Ambient and Pervasive
Interactions, chaired by Norbert Streitz (Germany) and Constantine
Stephanidis (Greece).
– The 1st International Conference on Human Aspects of Information
Security, Privacy and Trust, chaired by Louis Marinos (ENISA EU) and
Ioannis Askoxylakis (Greece).

There are a few versions of the leaflet available for you to download
(two-fold or single page, full color or printer friendly, A4 or letter).

Please also mark in your calendar the deadlines for submissions:

– Friday, 12 October 2012, paper proposals (an abstract of 800 words is
– Friday, 12 October 2012 for tutorial proposals (an abstract of 300
words is required)
– Friday, 1 February 2013 for poster proposals (an abstract of 300 words
is required)

During the conference, you will be able to interact with about two
thousand participants from academia, research institutes, industry and
governmental agencies from all over the world in this truly
international event.

The city of Las Vegas, as one of the world’s busiest tourist
destinations, offers just about everything — spectacular shows, shops
and restaurants, theme park attractions, and the natural beauty of the
surrounding lakes, parks and canyons.

The Mirage Hotel, located on Las Vegas Strip, is recommended as the main
hotel of the Conference. Many of the guest rooms offered are available
with breathtaking views of the tropical pool, majestic mountains or Las
Vegas Strip.
